The Golden Touch Weddings

FAQ

FAQ

  1. Why did you become a wedding planner?

I have always loved weddings. So it was a mixture of my project management skills and my love of stylish, well coordinated weddings that led me to become a wedding planner.  I believe that such a special day demands attention and thought.

  2. Signiture Dish?

Understated elegance with a fashionable twist.

  3. How would your clients describe you?

Friendly, efficient, creative and a good listener.

  4. If you could plan a celebrity wedding (alive or dead) whose would it be?

Prince William and Kate Middleton and Jessica Simpson

  5. Is the job as glamorous as you thought?

No, but I didn’t really think it would be that glamorous.  It’s a demanding role that requires lots of hard work, dedication and long hours but delivers tremendous job satisfaction.

  6. What is your vice?

    Reality TV and Shoes.

  7. How many years experience do you have?

    Since 2008

  8. Do you support or cater to any specific religions?

    We cater to all religions.

  9. How much communication will we have?

We have a policy to respond to all emails and phone messages in a timely manner.  We will respond to all messages within 24 hours.  Regardless of the service contracted for, all clients will have access to unlimited communication with us.

  10. Will you eat and drink during the reception and how comfortable will you make yourself?

Since weddings can turn into 10, 12, and even 14 hour days, vendor meals during your reception are much appreciated.  However, we are there to do a job and will absolutely not drink any alcohol or join your guests on the dance floor.

  11. Why should I hire a wedding consultant?

For many couples, it is their very first time planning a wedding.  They are confused as to where to begin, how much everything costs, and how to choose vendors.  Planning a wedding is not only about choosing your colors, flowers, and menu.  There are logistical matters to attend to such as the timing of events, parking situations, and knowing which vendors are reputable.  We are here to guide you and to take care of all of these concerns.  We are able to help save you time and money as well as your sanity so you can actually enjoy your wedding day!

  12. Do you coordinate Jewish weddings?

    Yes I do.

  13. What about tipping the coordinator, how much, if at all?

If I did an outstanding job, it is appropriate to tip if you feel it is warranted. A tip of $50 is very generous, as you have already compensated me for my services. You can tip more, less or not at all. Tipping is not a requirement, as there is no rule set in stone to include a tip for your wedding coordinator. If you are planning to give a tip, it should be given before you leave on your honeymoon. One subtle way to do this is to task me, the wedding coordinator with tip envelopes for each vendor and include an envelope for the coordinator as well.

  14. How many coodinators will show up?

Two experienced hands on coordinators will show up to all functions and be the upmost of help.
